Party Time! And goodie bags :)

Hola dear ones! New development: After the wedding and reception, you're invited to a relaxed gathering/after-party on Saturday August 30, 7pm-10pm, in the second floor café area of the Courtyard Marriot Gaithersburg, address below. There will be hor d'oeuvres and an open bar, and a chance for us to just hang out and be together.

Also please join us for a breakfast buffet the following morning, Sunday August 30, 8am-11am, in Salon A of the Courtyard Marriot Gaithersburg. For those of you checking into the Courtyard Gaithersburg Hotel, please tell the hotel staff you are with the Zwiebel/Popernack wedding at check in and make sure to collect your bag o'goodies.

As a reminder, the wedding itself is Saturday August 30 at St. Francis of Assisi Derwood, address below, at 11am- reception is at the same location immediately following.

The Rio where may of you are staying at the Courtyard Gaithersburg and other nearby hotels, offers great restaurants and activities such as a trackless train, carousel, and paddleboats in the form of pirate ships and swans.

Gaithersburg Community Museum Located in the restored B&O Railroad Station complex. Museum features educational exhibits and programs.

We highly recommend taking an Underground Railroad Tour in nearby Sandy Spring, MD. Oprah Winfrey took this tour in preparation for her role in the movie Beloved. It is a very meaningful experience. We also love Fox Hollow Farm (www.foxhollowfarm.org), where we often go for whole chocolate milk, fresh eggs, and goats milk soaps. While not quite lions, tigers and bears… the arrival of a dress, the sending of addresses and the awaiting of invitations (for folding, stuffing, stamping and mailing) means we are moving right along (cue Kermit and Fozzie).
